A Day of Service

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”

This year on January 20 we celebrated the 25 anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr’s life. This day should be a “day on, not a day off,’’ and should persuade Americans to help their community. The Corporation for National and Community service has led this tradition for the last 25 years. Thanks to everyone that took part in this holiday this year.

What I did for the random act of kindness was picking up the poles of a girl in my ski school group after she had fallen down, and why I did that was to help her after she had gotten hurt, and I am sure she was very thankful for that.
